CHILD cognition & THE LAW RESEARCHWe are currently conducting a transnational study of children's suggestibility. Past studies have covered topics such as children's understanding of truth and lie-telling, deception detection, coercion, testimonial competence, and children's memory.

JURY SELECTION & JURY DECISION MAKING RESEARCHIn collaboration with Valerie Hans and John Blume of Cornell Law School, we are currently conducting work examining the voir process in capital punishment cases, as well as gender bias in jury decision making. Past studies have examined the role of empathy in juries, the use and effectiveness of reasoned verdicts, the impact of evidence strength and injury severity on verdicts, among others.

MORAL DECISION MAKING researchWe are currently conducting work examining cross-cultural differences (specifically comparing US and Chinese samples) in moral decision making, across a variety of domains.
